Born and raised in Colorado, Ashlee Meehleis started her career in media way before she even knew it was something she loved.

Ashlee grew up in a family that had a passion for the performing arts. At the family’s dance studio, Ashlee would edit and design media content for the company while choreographing and teaching dance classes in the evenings.  It was there that Ashlee fell in love with media and the arts and began to compete in dance nationally as well as direct and act in various short films around the Colorado area.

Ashlee appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2014 with the FAMtastix group, where they received a standing ovation by the judges and the audience on the Madison Square Garden stage in NYC.

Ashlee then attended Colorado State University, where she majored in Journalism and Media Communication with a minor in Political Science. During her time at Colorado State University, Ashlee interned for the Highland Film Group at the Cannes Film Festival in France. In Cannes, Ashlee had the opportunity to market the sale of films across the globe, attend movie premieres, and learn valuable skills from industry professionals. Ashlee also interned for Hollywood Film and Casting, based out of Los Angeles, California, where she was able to produce, write and direct films with David Martin-Porras (lifetime director) and Leilani Downer (scriptwriter for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air).

Upon graduating from Colorado State University in 2019, Ashlee was approached with the opportunity to work for New Media Broadcasters. Excited about the new adventure in the radio industry and the valuable lessons she would learn, Ashlee packed up and moved to Big Sky Country.
