On-Air Mornings on KPQX & Sports Play-by-Play
Go Spurs Go, Big Red, and Barbacoa. That’s where you’d find the roots of “The Texan” Chris Reyes.
Chris’s love for radio blossomed during his time in college. While being a full-time student at the University of the Incarnate Word he volunteered for the school’s radio station and, as they say, “the rest is history.” For the next four years, he would be a staple on the Radio station’s programming using the radio waves as a way to surf through the schooling. While being a freshman he volunteered to do play-by-play for a football game and never looked back. He would be in the same position throughout his time as a student and even after graduation working briefly as a Graduate Assistant in the Communications Arts Department.
After graduation and outside of broadcasting Chris worked in the Medical Industry recruiting and running the social media sites with Diagnostics Research Group.
Chris relocated to Havre, Montana to experience life away from the Lone Star State while gaining valuable experience in the Radio Industry in the scenic Hi-Line of Montana. Aside from your nightly radio dials, you can find him: playing Xbox with friends, wedding planning with his fiancée, and thinking about when the Next Bills or Spurs game is.
