Register for a Havre Community Education Class. Classes include Fitness, Life and Health, Hobbies and Crafts and Special interests. See a complete list of classes at blueponyk12.com and go to the Community Education Page. You can Register online or in person at the Robins Building. Payment is due at time of registration. Payments may be mailed or dropped off in person. Early registration and payment will ensure the class is offered. Many classes have occupancy numbers so hurry and register for your favorite. Fitness Community Education Classes
Aqua Exercise A.M.
You’ll have a great physical workout at the Havre City Pool. Water buoyancy has been shown to make exercise less stressful on the body’s joints thus getting the benefit of aerobics without the stress on the body. Non-swimmers are welcome. This is a coed class.

OULA
OULA is an easy-to-follow, high-cardio exercise for people of all abilities to Top 40 hits. It is an experience where you are free to let it all out and dance free of judgment because our focus is on “how you feel,” rather than “how you look.” Join in for mind-body practice with the playfulness of a living room dance party! Bring a water bottle.

Pilates
This class will improve flexibility, build strength, and improve coordination and balance by emphasizing core training. Stability balls, weights, bands, and medicine balls may be used during this class along with bodyweight exercises to additionally train all muscle groups. Participants are asked to bring their own yoga or Pilates mat. If participants prefer their stability ball, they are encouraged to bring it also. .

Trim and Tone
Are you ready to look and feel great this spring? This class offers a total body tone-up including warm-up and stretching and is a great workout for your arms, abs, and legs using a kettlebell. A cardio finisher has been added to this class. If you have them, please bring a 7–10-pound kettlebell (or the size that works best for you), a mat, and a water bottle.

Hobbies and Crafts

Welding
Learn how to safely perform, repair, and project fabrication welding of steel. Common metal cutting and grinding equipment operation and safety will be covered. Participants will be introduced to the applications of the Oxygen Acetylene Torch, including cutting, brazing, welding, and heating. Arc welding instruction and practice will focus on: Shielded Metal Arc Welding (stick), Gas Metal Arc Welding (solid wire MIG), and Flux Cored Arc Welding. Plasma Arc Cutting will be demonstrated at the end of the course. Students need to bring fire retardant long sleeve jackets or shirts, leather gloves, and safety glasses.

Introduction to 3D Printing
This hands-on approach to 3D printing will introduce students to the basics of 3D printing, troubleshooting, and design software to create projects, in addition to pre-made design files online. Students will learn skills, methods, and software necessary to design and print their 3D works. Students will also gain a basic understanding of the advantages/disadvantages of 3D printing technologies and how to apply their understanding of design elements to their 3D printed works. The cost includes the price of supplies.
