PAWS of Chinook will be hosting a free community spay/neuter, vaccination and microchip clinic on May 18-19, 2024. The clinic will take place at Custom Collision Repair, 201 Pennsylvania Street in Chinook. A dog food drive will also take place with the goal of filling a trailer with unopened bags of dog food that will support the shelter’s efforts.
The clinic will include free spay/neuter services for dogs and cats. Low-cost vaccinations will also be available. Distemper/Parvo combination and Rabies vaccines can be purchased for $10 each. A discount is available when purchasing both vaccines for a cost of $15 total. Microchipping is also available at this event for $20 per pet. Appointments are required for spay/neuter services. Vaccination and microchips will be available on a walk-in basis.
Spay Montana will be performing all services hosted by PAWS of Chinook, a local private nonprofit organization who has been serving the area since 1994.
The public is encouraged to sign up early as the clinics fill up quickly. They can do so by calling the shelter directly at 406-357-2614. Monetary donations and event volunteers are needed in all areas.
