HAVRE, Mont. (NMBI) – Governor Bullock Announced Emergency Rules to Streamline Unemployment Benefits for Workers.
Bullock says, it “…will ensure that workers impacted by COVID-19…will make ends meet during these difficult times.”
The request allows individuals directed to leave work because of COVID-19 to qualify as being temporarily laid off and thus still eligible for benefits.
The U.S. Department of Labor approved the request March 17 and it will go into effect immediately.
