HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre Middle School will be holding classes Monday with an increased law enforcement presence throughout the day.
Superintendent of Schools Andy Carlson says that late on Sunday evening, a Havre Middle School teacher received a Facebook message that appeared to be a screen shot of a Snapchat message. The message warned an unidentified student to stay home due to a potential shooting at Havre Middle School. The message was from a since-deleted account.
Law enforcement was immediately notified and have been working closely with administration. Any individuals that may have received a similar message are asked to please take the message immediately to the Havre Police Department.
Buses and other Havre schools will be operating as normal.
