Coming all the way from Akron, Ohio (The city that Lebron James built), James Cardarelli got his start working in radio while attending the Ohio Media School. Through internships he became the Executive Producer for the Lake County Captains Radio Network the single A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, which eventually landed him a job at 92.3 the Fan, Cleveland’s number 1 sports talk station. While at 92.3 the Fan James was a fill in producer on the night show, and morning show. Doing whatever the station asked of him, James landed a gig with the Cleveland Browns Radio Network where he would handle all production work during and after Browns games.
Born and raised a Cleveland sports fan, his father Marc wouldn’t have it any other way for his son to become a miserable Browns fan like the rest of them. If you hear someone upset with the Browns around the streets of Havre, it will more than likely be James Cardarelli. As a Cleveland sports fan James will tell you that the summer of 2016 was the best of his life, when hometown hero Lebron James delivered on his promise and brought the city of Cleveland a championship.
As the son of Marc and Kathy Cardarelli, work ethic was instilled in James from the beginning. Working every dead-end job you could think of, James left the factory to attend school and chase his dream of being on the radio. Although his long-term goals are to one day return home and host a sports show in the Cleveland market, James is excited to be in Montana, grateful for the opportunity, and ready to experience everything this great state has got to offer. The great Lebron James once said “In Northeast Ohio everything is earned, not given” and that is the mindset James Cardarelli carries with him every step of the way in his pursuit of his dream. After living in Akron his entire life, he believes it is time to see what the world has to offer.
