Knudsen, others urge CBS to block Temu ads during Super Bowl

(Helena) Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen joined AGs from 5 other states in urging executives at Paramount Global and CBS Entertainment Group not to broadcast commercials from Temu, the online store.

The reason, they said, is because Temu is part of a company that they say is linked to the Chinese Communist Party. They also say Congressional investigators believe Temu is illegally selling products made by forced labor in Xinjiang

According to the Wall Street Journal, the online retailer purchased multiple ad units during this year’s Super Bowl and some reports indicate they have spent $15 million on the commercials this year.
