Montana Reports Over 2,100 New COVID Cases Friday

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The state health department reported 2,177 new COVID-19 cases across Montana in their Friday morning update as Montana’s known active case count has climbed above 11,400.

Four different counties reported more than 200 new cases on Friday, led by Gallatin with 471, Yellowstone with 457, Flathead with 306 and Missoula with 201. Cascade was next up with 145.

The number of active COVID-related hospitalizations is up to 195, while the cumulative death toll is at 2,945.
