More Winter Weather Forecast for Havre this Week

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Winter weather finally arrived to the Hi-Line with subzero temperatures and a few inches of snow.

Hill County Disaster and Emergency Services Coordinator Dave Sheppard says the cold snap is expected to last for at least a week, as one cold front moves out of the area and another one moves in. He says Havre could see about an inch of snow on Saturday, but his main concern is the frigid temperatures and wind chills.

Wind chills are expected to be down to 30 below through Thursday.

Sheppard says that the weather has not caused any significant issues in the county so far.
