Salvation Army offering Easter food baskets

(Havre) Havre’s Salvation Army Emergency Services Center is hosting their yearly Easter Food Basket service starting February 12th.

New Media Broadcasters spoke with Executive Director Trina Crawford to ask for more details on this service.

“So at the Salvation Army we are getting ready to partner with the Havre Community Food Bank to offer Easter food baskets to low income or needy families in the Havre area. So we are starting Monday, February 12th we’ll be taking applications. People can come to the office and bring their documentation and sign up for those Easter food baskets. For those that are wanting to support this effort, IGA will be running their Easter food basket campaign for us. You can donate by purchasing one of the Easter food baskets through IGA”

Documents Needed:
Picture ID for person filling out application
Social Security Cards for every family member in the home
Proof of residence
Proof of income

Appointments after March 21st will be placed on a waiting list
