Skylights Get Much Needed Victory as they Dominate Briercrest College

The MSU-Northern Skylights hosted the Briercrest Clippers Thursday evening for Field Trip Day in the Amory Gym. The Skylights came out hot and didn’t look back on their way to a dominant (112-39) victory.

With multiple youth Montana athletic programs in attendance for the annual Field Trip Day, MSU-Northern showed them what Skylights basketball is all about. It was a total team effort with 7 players reaching double digits scoring for the Skylights. Jalen Callender led the way off the bench with 18 points. Briaunna McCullough had 17pts 9reb 4ast & 4 steals in her first game after being named Frontier Conference Woman’s Player of the Week.  Ryley Kehr 15pts, Shyan Krass 10pts, Savannah Toms 14pts, Rachel Van Blaricom 13pts, and Dulci SkunkCap 10pts all were key contributors in the victory.

The win was much needed after dropping their last 4 games. Looking to build off the win and gain some momentum, the Skylights will travel to MSU-Billings Saturday, tip off at 4PM.
