Hill County Adds 7 COVID-19 Cases Monday, Box Elder Schools Reports COVID-19 Case

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Hill County reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Monday and had four cases meet the criteria to be considered recovered.

The new cases are:

  • Male under the age of 10
  • Female in their 20s
  • Female in their 30s
  • Male in their 50s
  • Female in their 60s
  • Female in their 70s
  • Female in their 90s

Six of the seven cases were identified through contact tracing and one currently has unknown exposures. Public health investigations and contact tracing are ongoing.

Also on Monday, Box Elder Public Schools announced that a positive COVID-19 case had been discovered in their facility. They will remain closed to students for the remainder of the week, and teachers will be working with students through their distance learning platform. They are planning to continue their meal program as scheduled.

Hill County has now reported 176 total COVID-19 cases. 47 are active, including two hospitalizations. 126 have recovered and three have died.
