BOZEMAN, Mont. (NMB) – 23 rural Montana communities are set to take part in Montana State University’s Reimagining Rural Program.
This program focuses on providing small towns with opportunities to shape their future through a series of three listening events where people come together to listen to virtual speakers discuss positive examples of successful rural communities. This is intended to bring residents together to brainstorm ideas for enhancing local communities and to build excitement and pride.
Communities in our area that are scheduled to participate in this program include: Chester-Joplin-Inverness, Cut Bank, Hays, Malta and Toole County.
Sessions are set for September 13th and 27th as well as October 3rd, all from 6-8 PM.
Community members interested in joining the discussions can participate by contacting their local Extension office.
