(NMB) The Havre Chamber of Commerce’s Summer music series, Sounds on the Square begins this Wednesday night. Executive Director of The Chamber Jessica Fagerbakke says the event is family friendly and everyone is welcome.
“It’s really a multi-generational family friendly event. All Are welcome. We encourage people to grab take out from their favorite restaurant and a refreshment and head to Towne Square, change dinner up and picnic at Towne Square where you listen to some awesome live music. And it’s free, the Havre Chamber puts it on and hosts it, and it’s just a really great family friendly community event.” -Fagerbakke
The Milk River Band will be this year’s opening Musical guest and Fagerbakke says the summer series is possible because of great community support.
“We have a lot of really great sponsors that have covered the cost of hosting these bands. So, thank you very much to all of our sponsors. It really wouldn’t be possible to have this free event for the community without the help of all of our sponsors.”-Fagerbakke
Sounds on the Square begins this Wednesday night in Havre’s Towne Square and continues every Wednesday through August 16th. For a schedule of each week’s performance visit our web site Hi Line today dot com.
