(Helena) Recently, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte appointed 56 members across 18 state boards.
Among the appointees are: Brian DeMarco of Cut Bank, appointed to the Geospatial Information Advisory Council, to serve until July 1, 2025.
2 area members were appointed to the Private Land Public Wildlife Advisory Council, to serve until August 1, 2027 – Lee Cornwell of Glasgow, and Stephanie Prater of Lewistown.
Elliott Crump of Shelby was selected to serve on the Teachers’ Retirement Board until July 1, 2028. Havre’s Dana Kjersem will be part of the Committee of Telecommunications Access Services for Persons with Disabilities until July 1, 2024. Montana State Representative Llew Jones of Conrad will serve on the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education through July 1, 2026.
