Friday July 31, University of Montana Grizzly football started fall camp and announced the addition of six new players to the roster, three transfers and three freshmen.
Two of the Three transfers come from the Frontier Conference. The Griz added 5th year senior offensive lineman Wyatt Sandford.
Sandford is a 6’4” 290lbs transfer from Carroll College where he earned a first team All-Frontier Conference-West selection.
The other Frontier Conference selection came from Montana State University-Northern’s defensive line in Manase Tupou (Muh-nah-say Two-poe).
Tupou is from Logan, Utah who stands 6’1″ 340lbs and was an All-Frontier Conference Honorable mention in his sophomore season with the Lights.
The third transfer comes from Nevada out of the Mountain West Conference. Saiden Wallace is a 6’4” 285lbs junior Defensive Lineman who redshirt his freshman year at Nevada and did not play in his sophomore season for the wolfpack.
The first of the three freshmen is Nohi Casco, who walked on to the program in the spring where he carved out a roster spot. Nohi is a 5’11” 195lbs Cornerback.
Hudson Schrader joins the program as a 6’2” 190lbs safety out of California. The final fall addition to the team is Everett O’Donnell out of Melbourne, Australia. O’Donnell is a 6’2” 220lbs junior punter.
