HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Hill County Commissioner Mark Peterson has announced that the Park Board’s Rules and Regulations Committee will meet on Monday, March 22nd at 6 PM in the Hill County Annex.
Peterson says this meeting is to “start the process of a beaver control policy.”
Attendance at the meeting will be limited to 12 people at a time, with only three of those spots for the general public. After a member of the public testifies, they will be asked to leave the meeting so others can be heard.
Peterson encourages those testifying to bring written testimony with at least six copies for the Committee.
The meeting is scheduled to last two hours. Another meeting will be scheduled in the near future to continue allowing public testimony and potentially hear from experts.
