(NMB) Havre Beneath the Streets is holding their living history day this Saturday. Tours will be offered from 9:30am until 3:30pm at a discounted rate. Christy Owens, Office Manager of Havre Beneath the Streets explains why Living History Day tours are different than normal tours offered throughout the year.
“With this living history, we’re actually going to experience Havre’s History. Kind of a little bit of a re-enactment. We’ve got some volunteers down there, about forty to fifty volunteers that are kind of coming and going and throughout the day some of them are going to be doing little skits and some of them are going to be doing some other fun stuff down there.”-Owens
There will be baked samples in the Bakery, Meat Samples in the meat market and Ice cream and soda samples in the fountain area. you can also experience the Law Office, Barbershop, Tac and saddle shop and saloon and bordello.
