Boone and Gradney, Named U.M. Scholar Athletes.

Bozeman, MT – Wednesday, July 16, Big Sky Commissioner Tom Wistrcill announced the Scholar Athletes for each school in the Big Sky Conference. University Montana’s Charley Boon and Trevin Gradney were the Grizzly Honorees.

In order to earn the prestiges honor from the Big Sky Conference, student-athletes must have used all athletic eligibility and/or part of a graduating class. Student-athletes must secure a baseline of a 3.2 Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher and have participated in the conference for at least two seasons.

Charley Boone the center back of Montana Women’s soccer, earned a masters degree in business while anchoring the the Grizz defense.

Gradney, the Billings native and Grizz corner back, earned a 3.80 GPA and graduated from UM’s college of business.
