(Chinook) Another big dollar donation for the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation in Chinook, this time to the tune of 60 thousand dollars.
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Impact Fund awarded them this money in the form a matching grant, something the FHLB has done for others as well, totaling over 20 million dollars in grant funding.
Recipient organizations were selected based on the needs for grant funding to support capacity-building or working capital necessary to strengthen their ability to serve affordable housing or community development needs.
This moves the Pool and Park Project another step towards their 3.2 million dollar goal.
