(Havre) – At the end of Thursday’s Hill County Commission Meeting, Commissioner Sheri Williams resigned effective at Midnight on August 2nd, 2026. In the coming days New Media Broadcasters will have information on how Commissioner Williams seat will be filled.
In action taking at the meeting, The commission approved unanimously the 5% increase in cost per meal for the food services contract at the Hill County Detention Center. The Commission also approved the annual right of way lease for the Mount Royal communication site and an interlocal cooperative agreement between Bear Paw Cooperative and participating districts in Hill County.
The next meeting of the Hill County Commission will be on Thursday August 6th at 2pm in the Commissioner’s office at the Hill County Courthouse.
