Fort Belknap Early Head Start Recieving Over $1 Million

WASHINGTON D.C. (NMB) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester has announced that nearly $1.1 million in U.S. Department of Health and Human Services funding is being directed to Early Head Start – Child Care Partnerships in order to expand access to child care resources in the Fort Belknap Community.

The funding is coming from the Administration for Children and Families, which oversees Head Start programs across the state.

In a statement, Tester says this funding will, “ensure hard-working parents have access to quality, affordable childcare and give the next generation of students the tools they need to succeed.”

This funding will also help provide advanced health screenings to children, provisions for diapers and formula, and access to family support services such as home visits.
