Missoula, MT – The University of Montana volleyball program completed their 2026 roster with the addition of Seattle pacific University transfer Elle McCandless, head coach Allison Lawrence announced in late June.
McCandless Hales from Lehi, Utah and played one year as a Seattle Pacific Falcon. Elle’s 6’3″ frame will fill the middle blocker position for the Griz.
McCandless played 96 sets in her redshirt at Seattle Pacific while averaging 1.22 kills.
In her freshman season with the Falcons Elle totaled 85 blocks with 24 solo blocks. She will also help out the Griz offensive attack with 117 total kills.
UM volleyball will begin their regular season August 28, against Central Michigan at 3p.m.
