
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – With Governor Greg Gianforte’s recent announcement, Hill County has announced they will be able to provide COVID-19 vaccines to anyone over the age of 16 beginning on April 1st.
Julianne LaSmith of Northern Montana Health Care says they have added an additional phone number for people to call and says the county is prepared to ramp up vaccine administration.
“The numbers at the vaccination clinics have been strong and we’ve got enough people to handle it. That’s why we’re excited to go into this next phase, because we have been able to keep up so far and we are looking forward to being able to help even more people out by getting the vaccine out there.”
Hill County is only receiving the Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines, which are approved for anyone 18 or older. Local officials can make arrangements for 16 and 17 year olds will to receive the Pfizer vaccine.
