
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Commission has announced that a new Building Manager has been hired.
Joseph Smith will replace Daryl Anez in the position. Anez will train Smith for the next month or so before retiring.
Commissioner Diane McLean says Smith has experience as a contractor, plumber, and electrician.
The Commission also announced that David Delatorre has been hired to serve as a Warden for Beaver Creek Park.
The Commission also announced two resignations. Tiana Gomes resigned from the role of Administrative Assistant for Beaver Creek Park just a few weeks after accepting the job, while Emily Jones is leaving her position as a Deputy Clerk and Recorder at the end of the month.
Action taken by the Commission at the meeting included the adoption of the Council on Aging’s State Budget, as well as approval of contract renewals for services such as the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program provided by the Hill County Health Department.
