HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – With the Great Northern Fair taking place this week, so too is the Hill County 4-H Fair.
MSU-Extension Agent Colleen Buck says events begin on Thursday morning with the Market Animal Weigh-In and continue through the weekend.
“If you’re looking for a good meal, come out and have something at the Chuckwagon. If you’re looking to see animals and support kids, come out to the Market Livestock Auction on Sunday. Just come out and enjoy the festivities.”
As of now, the 4-H Market Sale at 1 PM on Sunday is set to have around 29 steers, 34 hogs, and 10-15 lambs.
“We’re down a little bit on numbers, but we’re also down a little bit in 4-H numbers, too. So to be expected. But I think the kids are bringing a quality project to Fair, and it will be a quality product for those buyers.”
For more information on the 4-H Fair, visit the MSU Hill County Extension Facebook page. This is also where events will be streamed.
