
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – As the 2020 General Election approaches, Hill County Election Administrators have released information that voters should be aware of.
In Hill County, the November 3rd Presidential General Election will be conducted by mail ballot with an in-person voting option available from October 2nd through Election Day at the Clerk and Recorder’s Office.
Ballots will be mailed to active and provisionally registered voters starting on October 9th.
At the Clerk and Recorder’s Office, the public may vote or drop off the ballot they received in the mail, or request and vote a ballot.
Return postage on ballots is prepaid.
Registration and address updates can be emailed, faxed, or mailed in until October 26th. After that date, you must come in person to register and vote.
Ballots should be returned by mail at least one week before Election Day. All ballots completed within a week of November 3rd should be dropped off in-person at the Courthouse to ensure they are counted.
