GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – Interstate 15 from Craig to Wolf Creek has reopened at reduced speeds, but the fire that forced the closure on Saturday night continues to spread.
As of Sunday morning, the Rock Creek Fire was estimated at 2,560 acres.
The cause of the fire is unknown. Evacuations ordered on Craig River Road have been lifted.
Resources fighting the fire include an air tanker, two helicopters, a helitack crew and multiple fire engines.
