LOLO, Mont. (NMB) – A 62-year-old Lolo man was killed in a single vehicle rollover crash near Lolo on Friday evening.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 6 PM on US 12 at mile marker 23, when a westbound Dodge Ram being driven by the Lolo man drifted off the right side of the roadway for unknown reasons. The driver overcorrected to the right, causing the Ram to skid off the road and overturn. The Ram came to rest upside down upon a fence.
The Lolo man was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol, drugs or excessive speed are all not suspected factors at this time.
