HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A man was arrested in Hill County earlier this month on allegations of stealing a vintage vehicle and possessing methamphetamine.
Sandy Bob Strauser has been charged with the felonies of theft and criminal possession of dangerous drugs, as well as misdemeanor criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Court documents state that authorities from the Tri-Agency Task Force, Hill County Sheriff’s Office, and Federal Bureau of Investigations executed a warrant at a Hill County residence on April 7th after receiving reports of methamphetamine and stolen property.
The documents say an informant told authorities that Strauser intravenously injected methamphetamine on a daily basis, had distributed methamphetamine on numerous occasions, and had stolen a 1940s four door Hudson car.
When officers arrived, Strauser was arrested for an unrelated violent offense. They searched the residence and found methamphetamine and syringes on the property. They found the 1940’s Hudson nearby.
The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Lewis & Clark County in 2015.
Strauser is scheduled to be arraigned on May 18th in Hill County District Court.
