(Babb) The Milk River Project recently released another update on the progress of the St. Mary Siphon replacement project.
Officials say that this week, NW Construction finished up prep and compaction work on the canal prisms, and everything is now set for NorthWest Liner to mobilize next week.
The release also discussed MRP’s tentative plans to finish cleaning the remaining portion of the 29 miles of canal, some of which will have to be temporarily left; MRP says they have discussed options to send in crews for particularly problematic spots during the system shut down in August.
