HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Montana State University-Northern has announced that they have received two major gifts in the past week totaling $250,000 in support of their athletic facilities.
The donations, made out to the MSU-Northern Foundation, came from two local sources. The Patrick family, which owns Patrick Construction, the first group to break ground on the project, donated $200,000. An anonymous donor contributed $50,000 in honor of former football player Mike Tilleman.
The Northern Foundation says they are now at 98 percent of their $3 million funding goal for Phase 1 of the football complex.
Construction on Phase 1 of the stadium is near completion, as the turf field, press box, scoreboard and goalposts have been installed.
