Northern Montana Care Center Reports Multiple COVID-19 Cases Among Residents and Employees

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Northern Montana Health Care announced on Sunday afternoon that they have been notified that COVID-19 cases have been discovered in eight residents and multiple employees of Northern Montana Care Center.

Individuals that are positive have been notified and contact tracing is being conducted by the Hill County Health Department.

All residents in the Care Center have been ordered to remain in their rooms. COVID-19 positive residents are being moved to a special unit to be cared for.

Family members of residents have been contacted and informed of the latest developments.

All residents and staff will be tested every 3-7 days until 14 days have passed without any new cases.

No further details were released.

Prior to Sunday, Northern Montana Care Center had only reported one COVID-19 case. That case was in an employee and was reported on September 16th.
