HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Northern Montana Hospital has been named one of the top 100 rural and community hospitals in the U.S., according to a recently released report from The Chartis Center for Rural Health.
Christen Obresley, VP of Regulatory and Community Services for NMHC, says they are humbled by the honor.
“We have worked so hard as an organization and we have such great leadership within our medical staff and with (President and CEO) David Henry, and the fine staff that we have that work diligently every day. We just kept on being prepared and ready to go and providing great quality and service and care to our patients and residents, that it’s pretty rewarding. We haven’t had a lot of super great rewarding recognition in healthcare overall during the pandemic, so I’m very pleased for us.”
To determine the top 100, Chartis assesses performance across more than 50 individual indicators and eight pillars of performance.
The other Montana hospitals named to the list were Bozeman Health Deaconess, Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and St. Peter’s in Helena.
