HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Thursday, February 14th, Montana State University-Northern will host its’ annual Spring Career Fair in the Armory Gym on campus. Northern’s Career Center Director Mary Heller says the Fair is open to all currently enrolled MSU-Northern students or alumni. People can sign up through Career Express online to get registered for the fair.
“We have major news. We have 51 employers currently registered, so I anticipate we’re going to have a couple more employers register. And this is great. We broke another record. We’ve never had a career fair this big before, ever. So, I’m pretty excited about that.”
Heller encourages job seekers to prepare their resumes and register for the Career Fair.
“It’s very helpful if students sign up a head of time, especially for, I believe we have about twelve employers who will be interviewing students. And we have those interview schedules open and it’s really nice that the students can sign up ahead of time. That way they know they’re on the schedule. They have their spot reserved.”
Heller says they will have several organizations looking for medical students and nurses, as well as businesses looking for agriculture, agronomy, criminal justice, biology, civil engineering and drafting students.
