Over a Dozen Displaced after Helena Apartment Fire

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Independent Record reports that nearly 20 people were displaced late Tuesday night due to an apartment fire in Helena.

One of the apartments in the 13-unit complex on 11th Avenue caught fire at around 11 PM. Two occupants of a second story residence were rescued and transported by emergency crews.

The Red Cross is assisting displaced residents.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
