There is a major problem in the state of Montana and across the nation. Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen explains that problem.
“Just how fast fentanyl has meteorically exploded in Montana, the amount of fentanyl we are now seeing in Montana, the huge shipments. I had a conversation with a regional director of the DEA. He said this is the first time in his 30-year career that he has seen the U.S. market completely saturated with one drug and that’s fentanyl. The cartels can make it very cheaply. They can make it very easily, and they have it in our state within a couple of days of it going across that border, and it is everywhere. This is not just a Billings problem. This is not just a Havre problem, and this is not just a reservation problem. We are finding fentanyl in all corners of the states.
