HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A lightning-caused fire early Monday afternoon burned about five acres of land southeast of Havre.
Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department Chief Josh Bebee says he received a call of a fire burning about two miles east of Davey School at 12:30 PM.
10 firefighters along with five engines were on the scene and had the fire out by 1:50 PM.
The five acres of grass and pasture that burned was mostly on private land.
