(Havre) -The Hill County Health Department is hosting a Drive Through Vaccine Clinic at the Great Northern Fairgrounds from Noon until 7pm on Thursday. Hill County Chief Health Officer and Health Department Director Kim Berg explains how this vaccine clinic doubles as a training exercise for her department.
“Another reason for doing this is to test our point of distribution system or POD system that we have set up for health departments. So, by testing our system we are able to see if we are able to get these vaccinations or medications or bottled water out to our community in an expedited time if there was an emergency that came up. The more people that show up to our drive-thru clinic on Thursday the more that would help us test our system and see if there is anything going forward we need to change.”
The Flu and Covid Vaccines will be available at Thursday’s drive through clinic.
