Veterans Affairs Officers Holding Outreach Events Throughout September

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Throughout September, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs Division will be visiting numerous locations in north-central Montana to meet with Veterans interested in applying for benefits.

Those interested in applying are asked to bring a copy of their discharge paperwork, the DD 214’s, with them. Face-masks are also required.

Below is the September schedule:

  • Wednesday, September 9th: Shelby Courthouse from 9:30-11:30 AM; Glacier County Courthouse Annex Room 20 (Cut Bank) from 1:30-4 PM
  • Thursday, September 10th: Glacier County Couthouse Annex Room 20 (Cut Bank) from 8:30-11:30 AM
  • Wednesday, September 16th: Glasgow VA Clinic from 1-4 PM
  • Thursday, September 17th: Malta City Hall from 9:30-11:30 AM
  • Wednesday, September 23rd: Shelby Courthouse from 9:30-11:30 AM; Glacier County Courthouse Annex Room 20 (Cut Bank) from 1:30-4 PM
  • Thursday, September 24th: Glacier County Couthouse Annex Room 20 (Cut Bank) from 8:30-11:30 AM

Due to COVID-19 and travel restrictions, they are unable to see veterans at this time at Rocky Boy, Fort Belknap, and Browning. To schedule an appointment at the Havre office, call 265-4225.

Browning Veterans are permitted to attend the Cut Bank outreach events due to COVID-19.
