GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September, the American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to give blood to support youth battling cancer, as well as others in need of transfusions.
There will be several opportunities to donate blood on the Hi-Line throughout the first half of September:
- September 1st: VFW in Glasgow (1222 US Highway 2) from 10:30 AM-5:30 PM
- September 10th: MSU-Northern SUB Ballroom from 10 AM-3 PM.
- September 14th: St. Jude Parish Center in Havre (440 7th Avenue) from 11:30 AM-5:30 PM
- September 15th: Wallner Hall in Chinook (330 Ohio Street) from 12-6 PM; St. Jude Parish Center in Havre from 9 AM-3:30 PM
Red Cross blood drives have precautions in place that include temperature checks, social distancing and face coverings to ensure that donors feel at ease when giving blood or plasma.
