Havre softball senior pitcher Elle Verploegen announced her next move as a student-athlete. She recently committed to play softball at the University of Mary, an NCAA Division II program in Bismarck, ND.
Verploegen has been instrumental in the Blue Pony softball success the last three seasons, becoming the starter her sophomore year and helping lead Havre to back-to-back Northeastern ‘A’ Division Titles en route to state tournament appearances.
She has been a three-sport athlete at Havre High, playing volleyball and basketball in the past, but has directed her energy towards sticking with softball, which landed her this scholarship to play at the next level.
