(Fort Belknap) The Great Plains VA held their PACT Act event at the Fort Belknap Bingo Hall on May 7th.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Michael Kelty, Management Analyst with the Medical Disability Examination Office to ask what makes events like these so important.
“Veterans sacrifice a lot when they join the military and a lot of times they get hurt and are told to soldier on and keep going and things like that but there’s a lot of injuries, physical, mental, emotional where that happens while they’re serving. This is their way of, not saying that a pay check will equate to whatever you went through but the thing is we want to make sure they’re being compensated in some way”
