(Great Falls) The First Peoples Buffalo Jump Park is hosting their “All About Snakes” program on Saturday, May 18th.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Clark Carlson-Thompson, Recreation Manger with First Peoples Buffalo Jump Park, to ask for more information on the event.
“We’ve got a pretty healthy snake population here at first peoples, usually this kind of early spring in the first nice days we get a lot of folks who are out enjoying the weather and they suddenly realize that they’ve got some reptiles sharing the trail with them too. So, we do this program we try to do it every spring to just kind of get folks re-acclimated to the fact that there’s a bunch of snakes out and about on the prairie and especially here in the park where they might run into them”
