(Department of Commerce) The Montana Department of Commerce announced this week that 25 Native American businesses will share $320,000 of grant funding.
Dusy Welding, Rockin Ridge Construction, and SSW Beadworks from the Chippewa Cree tribe will each receive funding.
Fort Belknap businesses like Garrett Doney LLC, Kevin Hawley’s shop, and Wasniya Massage Therapy each received $14,000 for renovations and upgrades.
This funding is through the Department of Commerce’s Indian Equity Fund Small Business Grant Program.
