(Havre) – The City of Havre has two candidates running for City Judge to replace retiring judge Janie Hedstrom. Thomas “Connor Burns and Serena Dawson are running for the position. Both spoke with New Media Broadcasters and told us why they want to be the new city judge. First, we here from Candidate Burns.
“Havre has been exceptionally good to me. I met my wife here, I’m raising my family here and I just want to give back to the community and being city Judge is a way that I can both execute my oath to the Constitution, continue to execute mu oath to the Constitution and to give back to the community.”
Here is Candidate Dawson’s answer to the same question.
“It was brough to my attention that there was a need for someone to file to run, and I thought about it, I thought what a great way to give back to the community of Havre. to serve as their city judge because this community has given me so much. Number one, my husband was born and raised here.”
