Boys & Girls Club Festival of Trees is Saturday

(NMB) The Boys and Girls Club of the Hi Line holds their premier fundraising event of the year this Saturday night, the 18th annual Festival of Trees, held at the club. Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Tim Brurud told New Media Broadcasters what the evening entails.

“Everybody is welcome to come. We have some wonderful businesses around town that support us, they do up some great Christmas Trees with lots of gift’s underneath. So, we have a live auction for those, there’s silent auction items, we play games throughout the night. It’s just a great time to celebrate the Club and for people to help support our mission here.”

Individual tickets are 25.00 each. Appetizers and drinks are available If you can’t attend but would still like to help out, you can purchase an ultimate winner ticket for 50.00 dollars, only 150 of the Ultimate winner tickets are sold. Should you win that drawing you get you pick of any of the auction items before the auction begins and you do not have to present to win. The Boys and Girls Club currently has over 500 enrolled members and sees about 250 of them on a daily basis. Brurud says they owe the community a huge thank you.

“The community is key to our success, I mean we could not do what we do without the support of our community, and they have stepped up for us big time.”

The 18th Annual Festival of Trees is at the Boys and Girls Club of the Hi Line this Saturday night November 22nd.
