JOPLIN, Mont. (NMB) – The Biggest Little Brewfest is making a comeback this Sunday from 1-5 PM in Joplin, but with a few changes.
As a precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the event will take place outdoors at Joplin Park with social distancing.
All proceeds go to keeping the Golden Triangle Center open. Dane Kantorowicz, Golden Triangle Center Board President, says the Center is a vital gathering space for the community.
“It’s great to go in during the winter and be able to see kids go in and burn off steam. It’s important to have it available to the community. We’ve had funerals there, weddings, (baby) showers, all sorts of events.”
The event is for all ages and is free to enter. However, the beer garden is restricted to those 21 and older and has a $20 entry fee that includes six drink tickets.
There will be around 15 microbrews as well as mainstream beers, seltzers and wine, and food from Explore America. Local vendors will be on hand, and there will be a horseshoe tournament and live music from America’s Liquor Down Band.
The event is hosted by the Joplin Commercial Club and brewfest Committee, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Hand sanitizer and face coverings will be available at the event.
