Havre, MT – Havre high Blue Pony boys basketball is right around the corner with tryouts beginning on November 20th.
The Blue Ponies went 9-9 through the 2024-2025 regular season. Havre basketball put in work throughout the summer to improve this season.
Head coach for the Blue Ponies Waylon Burgess talked about camps and the offseason work his team put in.
“We did our normal summer stuff, we got in as soon as we could. Start of June we had four different camps we went to, you know we played about a total 20 25 games. A lot of skill development stuff throughout the summer, in every night getting shots up, getting a lot of fundamentals in. A lot of team bonding stuff, you know doing different activities together and just building towards the season.”
The blue Ponies will begin their season on the road at East Helena on December 6.
